LightReach Guide for Installers and Dealers

Pipe fully supports installers using LightReach. Here’s how you can successfully submit LightReach deals using Pipe.

Design Request Completed

Once we return the design, follow these steps on the Proposal Page:

  1. Select Financing Option: Go to the proposal and select LightReach as the financing option.

  2. Input System Details: Click the link to go to the LightReach portal and input the system size and production numbers.

  3. Choose Payment Options: Select the escalator and quotes for monthly payments.

  4. Return to Pipe: Go back to Pipe, click the top right menu, and select LightReach from the menu options.

  5. Input Financial Details: Enter the escalator, monthly payment, and PPA rate if it's a PPA.

You now have a proposal that reflects the LightReach numbers and monthly payments.

Use our Contract Document Generator to sign the Home Improvement Contract (HIC) with homeowners.

Shade Reports (Installers Only)

We recommend that installers maintain a dedicated Aurora company account to ensure that the shade reports uploaded to LightReach for approval accurately reflect the installed system.

Follow these steps:

  1. Create Accurate Installed Design: Create a design in Aurora that reflects the installed system as shown in the install photos.

  2. Export Necessary Reports: Export the shading report, irradiance, simulation settings, and monthly production numbers to upload to LightReach.

It's crucial that your install photos match this new Aurora design and its reports for successful approval for funding.

Important Notes

We only provide the Aurora Production Guarantee on the design request. Shade reports must be done by the company and its project manager to reflect the actual system installed.
